Scenes from Calvary Tabernacle

Enter to worship.

Enter to worship.

As previously reported, Calvary Tabernacle has finally moved into our new location at 1125 Hampshire in Quincy. The building formerly housed a social service agency and senior center, but had sat empty for quite some time before our pastor approached the ownership about leasing it to our church. They agreed, and after approximately three months of renovations, we celebrated our first worship service in the building this past Sunday morning.

Our new facility is more than twice the size of our old building, and is completely handicap accessible. The move nearly doubled the size of our sanctuary and practically quadrupled our Sunday School space. We’ve got expanded room for offices and an infinite amount of parking, at least compared to what we had before. And for all of the tech geeks out there, we also dramatically upgraded our audio/visual systems.

Suffice it to say that the worship experience has been greatly enhanced.

But as the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. If that’s true, here are eight thousand words worth of photos.

Our new baptistery is a 100 percent upgrade over what we had in our previous facility. Trust me.
